Ashley’s career trajectory is far from traditional. After graduating from Baylor University—with honors—she started in a Level 1 Trauma Center as an ER nurse. Her time there, filled with critical experiences, shaped her into a skilled healthcare professional. Wanting to broaden her horizons, she transitioned to Parkland Hospital and completed a rigorous Critical Care Nurse residency. These challenging environments imbued her with resilience and an exceptional understanding of patient care.

While committed to her roles in emergency care, Ashley’s intrigue for the aesthetic realm grew stronger. Shadowing a plastic surgeon for four years deepened her understanding of facial anatomy and the aging process. Her fascination transformed her career ambitions, leading her to the esteemed title of Corporate Nurse Practitioner at It’s A Secret Med Spa. “What drew me here,” Ashley shared, “is the belief in a well-trained staff. It’s essential that our injectors are licensed registered nurses.”
